From a small software studio in Ho Chi Minh City to a trans-Tasman IT company with offices in four cities — this is the KOS story.

Who We Are

Kiwi Online Solution is a technology company — not an agency. We build products, run them, and help other businesses build theirs.

Founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2004 and expanded to Hamilton, New Zealand in 2015, KOS has grown into a multi-country IT firm with deep capabilities across software development, SaaS products, ERP systems, digital transformation, and digital marketing.

What sets us apart is simple: we own and operate our own products. When we build for you, we bring the discipline of product owners — not just developers — to every engagement. We've made the mistakes, learned the lessons, and built the processes that make software projects succeed.

Our team is split across three countries intentionally — business development in Melbourne, core management in Hamilton NZ, and a senior engineering hub in HCMC — giving our clients the best of local relationships and global technical depth.

Our History

A Journey of
Consistent Growth

2004
Founded in Ho Chi Minh City
E-Solution established in HCMC — delivering software development for international clients across the US, Netherlands, Australia, and Germany. Outsourcing-first model building deep technical capability across diverse industries.
2008–2012
Vietnam market focus & digital marketing
Pivoted to serve the growing Vietnamese domestic market. Expanded into digital marketing, working with major clients including Vingroup, Printing No.7, Pevonia, and Vpin. Built a full-service capability combining software and marketing.
2013–2014
SaaS development & product architecture
Built our own SaaS architecture using the Odoo open-source framework as a foundation, developing a proprietary SaaS Controller layer and a suite of built-in business products. This became the platform carried to New Zealand in 2015.
2015
Kiwi Online Solution — Hamilton, NZ
KOS Ltd established in Hamilton, New Zealand. The NZ office became the new headquarters, bringing KOS's capabilities to the ANZ market.
2016–2019
ANZ market growth
Built a strong client base across New Zealand and Australia. Delivered 200+ projects for NZ SMEs across web development, ERP, and digital marketing.
2020–2022
Product portfolio expansion
Launched Webzy, Easy Invoice Maker, and began development on SIRAM safety platform. Grew the HCMC development team to support increasing product complexity.
2023
J&L International — Melbourne, AU
Established the Australian business arm in Melbourne, strengthening KOS's commercial presence across the broader ANZ region.
2023–Now
Next-generation products & ANZ expansion
Actively developing NBIS and SmartKPI — two products that redefine how businesses use intelligence and performance systems. Australian operations deepening through the Melbourne office, with growing ANZ client engagements.
